Sometimes it’s not talent, but just consistent hard work that takes you ahead of everyone else.
We often start counting our shortcomings after seeing others’ success. “They’re more talented than me. They’re more intelligent than me.” But one thing that is in everyone’s control is consistency.
If you work for your goal every day, learn every day, improve every day, then a time comes when even talent starts to look small in front of you. Because talent without hard work slowly fades away, but consistency makes you stronger every day.
So don’t compare yourself with anyone. Just see if you are better today than you were yesterday. If the answer is yes, you’re on the right path.
Success isn’t a miracle of one day. It’s the result of thousands of days when you worked silently and didn’t give up.
